What should be the load factor for separate chaining hashing?

(b) 1
 
(c) 1.5

The question is from Hash Tables topic in chapter Hash Tables of Data Structures & Algorithms I

Right option is (b) 1
 
To explain: For hashing using separate chaining method, the load factor should be maintained as 1. For open addressing method, it should not exceed 0.5.
