Correct choice is (c) θ = 90°
 
Explanation: The formula for horizontal range is R = v^2 (sin 2θ)/g. When θ = 90°, sin 2θ = sin 180° = 0. Hence, the range covered becomes 0. Since range cannot be negative, 0 is the minimum value it can attain.
