Correct answer is (a) 12500 N
 
To explain: From Newton’ second law we get force on scooter = 2500 x 5 = 12500 N. From Newton’s third law we know that for every for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. From this we can say that the truck experiences a force of 5 N.
